Disney's Stars and Motor Cars Parade first appeared at Disney's MGM Studios, Walt Disney World in 2001, where it ran until March 2008. Part of the parade subsequently moved to Walt Disney Studios in Disneyland Paris in 2009. The parade originally culminated in a show on the stage in Production Courtyard however this element was subsequently dropped. The parade had its final run in 2014.

Based on the Disneyland attraction "Storybook Land Canal Boats", Le Pays des Contes de Fées takes guests on a ride past miniature scenes from classic Disney films. As at Disneyland, the miniatures can also be viewed from Casey Jr - le Petit Train du Cirque, however note that the French train moves much faster than the American version. Neither the boat or the train ride feature a narration.
Scenes currently featured include Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Babes in the Woods, Tangled, The Old Mill, The Little Mermaid, Fantasia, Peter and the Wolf, Aladdin, The Sword in the Stone, Beauty and the Beast and The Wizard of Oz/Return to Oz.
The New Generation Festival ran at Disneyland Paris for a year from April 2010 and celebrated newer additions to the Disney/Pixar family, such as Toy Story, the Princess & the Frog and Ratatouille. Tiana and Naveen joined the Disney's Once Upon A Dream Parade whilst over in Wakt Disney Studios, Remy and his brother Emile were added to Disney's Stars'n'Cars.
Toy Story Playland subsequently opened in August 2010.
Toy Story Playland opened in Walt Disney Studios Park, Disneyland Paris during the New Generation Festival. The area features three rides - Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop, Slinky Dog ZigZag Spin and RC Racer. Whilst a much smaller area than the version which opened in Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2018, there are many hidden details to look out for as explained in the official Disneyland Paris video below.
La Place de Rémy opened in Walt Disney Studios Park, Disneyland Paris in summer 2014 and features the hugely popular 4D trackless attraction, Ratatouille: The Adventure. The ride's exit takes you past Bistrot Chez Rémy which, of course, serves ratatouille!
"it's a small world" was originally created for the UNICEF pavilion at the 1964 New York World's Fair and opened at Disneyland in 1966. For a history of the attraction, check out FreshBaked's video "Disneyland Secrets and History of it's a small world".
Disney Stars on Parade debuted at Disneyland Paris in March 2017 as part of the park's 25 anniversary celebrations. Unlike its predecessor, Disney Magic on Parade, it consists of all new flats to the resort. There are some familiar faces, however - the Lion King and Peter Pan floats were recycled from Tokyo Disneyland's "Jubilation" parade, together with a replica of the hugely popular Maleficent fire-breathing dragon from Walt Disney World.
I've already posted photos from the Marvel Summer of Super Heroes, which was the reason for this trip. Click on the image below for more general images from around the resort.
"Marvel: Summer of Super Heroes" is currently taking place at Walt Disney Studios Park, Disneyland Paris and runs through to 30th September 2018.
In addition to themed merchandise and food, entertainment includes Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Dance Off, as seen in Disneyland and Walt Disney World, together with two original shows - Stark Expo Presents: Energy of Tomorrow! and Marvel: Super Heroes United.
Whilst the Dance Off and Stark Expo take place outdoors, Super Heroes United is held in the CineMagique theatre- be prepared to get in line well in advance of showtime. Mastercard holders are able to reserve seating - pop along to Studio Services or City Hall to check availability.
