Following my return from Walt Disney World last week, it quickly became apparent that friends and work colleagues were most interested in seeing photos of one thing...food! So whilst I have many, many photos to go through, I promised to get these sorted out over the weekend. The updated gallery can be viewed here and includes a few photos from the last couple of days of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, together with trips to signature restaurants The California Grill, The Hollywood Brown Derby and Citricos. As I was staying at the Polynesian Resort, needless to say you'll find tonga

Taken at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on 15th November. In a couple of hours I'll be on my way to the airport, heading off for a week at Walt Disney World. This will be my first time experiencing Christmas at the Magic Kingdom and needless to say, I can't wait! I'll also manage to catch the last couple of days of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival (on which tenuous note, I was thrilled to find one of my photos featured on my favourite Disney site, the Disney Food Blog, this week!).
As mentioned in a previous post, I've booked on the Wild Africa Trek at Disney's Animal Kingdom. I'm also looking forward to my first visit to the California Grill, experiencing Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and, on a slightly cheaper note, meeting Anna & Elsa. On the final day of my last trip to WDW, I was lucky enough to experience the first day of New Fantasyland's soft opening, when the Barnstormer and Dumbo opened and can't wait to see the latest additions. I was delighted to read about Disney Publishing Worldwide's announcement that they are publishing "Zodiac", a new book written by Stan Lee with Stuart Moore. The novel, which is due for publication in January 2015, will feature illustrations by Andie Tong. I met Andie at London Film & Comic Con a few years ago (more years ago than I probably realise) and have had a number of sketches drawn by him (there are so many more I'd love to have had done - we miss you in England, Andie!). Aside from his obvious talent, he's just a lovely, genuine guy and I'm so thrilled to read about this wonderful opportunity for him.
For more information, visit the official Zodiac site and you can view more of Andie's amazing artwork at his site Deemon Productions. |
